RIG Inspection
For our clients in the oil and gas industry we provide a wide range of rig inspection services according to the international standards.
For the inspection of rigs, pipes and tubulars, PGM applies several Non-Destructive Testing Methods, techniques that do not destroy the test object.
PGM, within the scope of Rig Inspection services provides the below services:
- Equipment verification (visually, dimensionally)
- Approval and evaluation of the materials
- Approval and evaluation of the equipments (pumps,valves, pipes, flange.etc)
- Wall Thickness measurement from a Ultrasonic Thickness gauge
- Welding Controls
- Magnetic Particle Inspection of drilling rig mast, sub base, pipe elevators, tongs, sheaves, welded areas of high pressure lines and various other hoisting and drilling equipment
- Supervision of the pressure tests and approval of the reports
- Supervision of the equipment function and load test and approval of the reports.
- Periodical Controls and reporting
- Witnessing of the pre-commissioning, commissioning and project approval of the equipments.
A “Rig Inspection Certificate” will be prepared at the end of the completion of the project.
